This is the perfect summer main course. If you don’t want to broil it in the oven, cook it on the grill. You can serve this cold as part of a salad plate or even in place of gefilte fish at holiday time. It will become your year round favorite!
1.25 lbs. filet of salmon, skin removed
1 tsp. mayonnaise
1 tsp. Dijon mustard (or more for a more intense flavor)
1 tbls. chopped dill
1 tbls. chopped chives
- Set oven to “Broil”
- Rinse fish; pat dry with paper towel.
- In a small bowl mix mayonnaise and mustard together; spread liberally over fish. Sprinkle fish with chopped herbs. Rub all ingredients all over fish. Bake 15 minutes or when fish is done.
You can use any fresh herbs that you want. Experiment and enjoy!
